Mykobakteriální infekce v ORL oblasti
Tuberkulózní onemocnění v oblasti hlavy a krku je v naší zemi málo běžným onemocněním.Epidemiologická situace se mění, protože v určitých skupinách obyvatel vzrůstá incidencetéto choroby. Změnil se klinický obraz, objevily se nové diagnostické možnosti. Autoři podávajípřehled o mikrobiologii, histopatologii a diagnostice, uvádějí klinické obrazy mykobakteriálníchinfekcí v oblasti hrtanu, středního ucha a mastoideálního výběžku, nosu a krčních uzlin. V referátuje zdůrazněna úloha otorinolaryngologa v časné a někdy obtížné diagnostice tuberkulózního postiženív ORL oblasti.

Tuberculosis disease in the area of head and neck has been an uncommon disease inthis country. Epidemiological situation has recently changed, since certain groups of populationsuffer for increasing incidence of the disease. The clinical picture has changed, and new diagnosticpossibilities came out. The authors present a survey of microbiology, histopathology and diagnosticsand describe clinical pictures of mycobacterial infections in the area of larynx, middle ear andmastoid process, nose and neck nodes. The paper draws attention to the role of otolaryngologist inearly and sometimes difficult diagnosis of tuberculosis affection in ORL area.
