Overview
Peritonsillar abscess in children is a rare condition, especially in case of children of preschool age. Management of peritonsillar abscess in children is different than those of adults in the certain aspects. Diagnosis and treatment is largely influenced by the cooperation of the child's and medical history data to overcome diseases. The typical clinical signs and local findings are not always shown. We report a case of a peritonsillar abscess in a 15 month old infant with atypical local findings.
