Present Trends in the Treatment of Inflammation of Upper Respiratory Pathways(sinusrhinitis)
Současné trendy v léčbě zánětůhorních dýchacích cest (rinosinusitid)
Záněty horních dýchacích cest patří mezi frekventovaná onemocnění. Původci jsou různí,od virů přes bakterie, alergeny k fyzikálním a chemickým patologickým činitelům. Symptomyonemocnění jsou velmi podobné, avšak průběh a závažnost jednotlivých zánětů se různí od lehceprobíhajících až po těžké záněty s možností komplikací, které mohou ohrozit i život nemocného.Z toho je zřejmé, že včasná a správná diferenciální diagnostická úvaha následovaná adekvátníléčbou je nanejvýš potřebná. Dříve se striktně oddělovala medikamentózní a chirurgická léčbaa někdy se kladla dokonce do vzájemného protikladu.

Inflammations of upper respiratory pathways belong to frequent diseases. These arecaused by various agents including viruses, bacteria, allergens, physical and chemical pathologicalagents. Symptoms of these diseases are similar, but the course and severity of individual inflammationsvary from a light course to severe inflammations with the possibility of life threateningcomplications. That iswhy an early and correct differential diagnosis, followed by adequate therapy,is so much needed. Drug therapy and surgical treatment were previously strictly separated andsometime even contraposed.
