Overview
Sinonasal hemangiopericytoma in the region of the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses is a rare mesenchymal tumor deriving from pericytes. It is frequently characterized by its more benign nature; however a local recurrence, as a result of non-radical surgical treatment, is not unusal. An endonscopic endonasal resection is considered to be an adequate treatment.
We present a case report of a 64-year-old male patient presenting with sinonasal hemangiopericytoma. Endoscopic tumor resection was performed in our department and one year after this surgery, there is no sign of locoregional recurrence.
