Overview
We refer to a case of a coincidence of papillary carcinoma of the thyroid, parathyroid adenoma and sarcoidosis. The only symptom that occurred in the patient was dorsalgia. Parathyroid adenoma and nodules in the thyroid were revealed in the course of a diagnostic process. Histological examination revealed not only parathyroid adenoma but also papillary thyroid carcinoma and sarcoidosis of lymph nodes. We describe standard diagnostic methods and possibilities of treatment. The importance of detailed histological examination is pointed out in this report.
Key words:
sarcoidosis, papillary thyroid carcinoma, parathyroid adenoma.
