Overview
Compression of the optic nerve is one of the uncommon affection leading to the deterioration or complete loss of vision. We describe the case of 14-year-old girl with a gradual deterioration of vision in right eye. Using modern imaging methods, using endonasal endoscopic surgical technique, we clarify the cause and pathology removed. The cause of optic nerve compression was rare exostoses in the optical channel. Endonasal endoscopic approach is an ideal choice for dealing with optic nerve pathology. It is a gentle and minimally invasive surgical technique.
